
A major health emergency unfolded in Gujarat’s Surendranagar district after 147 girls from a government residential school reportedly fell ill due to suspected food poisoning following dinner at the hostel. According to officials, 102 students were admitted to the Chuda Community Health Centre, while 45 others were shifted to hospitals in Surendranagar for further treatment. Authorities confirmed that all the affected students are currently in stable condition. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the suspected food contamination, while health officials continue to monitor the students and ensure they receive proper medical care.
