
Two elderly men lost their lives in separate road accidents in Bengaluru, highlighting ongoing concerns over road safety. In the first incident, 67-year-old Venkanna was killed after a speeding water tanker hit his scooter while he was taking his two grandchildren to school near Yelahanka. The children escaped with minor injuries. In another accident, 79-year-old Parashuram succumbed to injuries after being struck by a speeding goods truck while crossing Puneeth Rajkumar Ring Road. Police have registered cases in both incidents and launched investigations, while urging motorists to follow traffic rules and drive responsibly
